Steering Group

Network Member

The following outlines the main duties of any member of the Network Steering Group:

  1. Attend a minimum of 50% of Steering Group meetings within a given 12-month period.
  2. Contribute to discussions at Steering Group meetings.
  3. Respond promptly to requests for advice or assistance from other members of the Steering Group.
  4. Take an active role in the work of the Steering Group.
  5. Either individually or jointly, take responsibility for writing Steering Group responses to consultation papers.
  6. Assist with any media statements from the Steering Group following the protocol as agreed.
  7. Assist in the successful running or presentation of workshops at Network conferences.
  8. Be involved in any one-off working groups the Steering Group may set up.
  9. Be prepared to attend meetings with government Ministers or officials.
  10. Contribute any specialist knowledge to the Steering Group.
  11. Provide successful liaison between the Steering Group and other members of the Network.
  12. Any other duties as may become necessary and are agreed by the Steering Group.
