Steering Group
Network Secretary
The following outlines the main duties of the Network Secretary:
- Arranging dates and venues for meetings of the National HMO Network Steering Group ("The Steering Group"), including hotel accommodation for Steering Group members if that is necessary. Notification of such meetings to members of the Steering Group.
- Taking accurate minutes of meetings of the Steering Group and distributing minutes to members of the Steering Group.
- Keeping a list of names and contact details for members of the Steering Group.
- Maintaining an up to date membership database for the National HMO Network ("The Network").
- Notifying members of Annual General Meetings of the Network and administering nominations for application to the Steering Group at such meetings, having regard to the Network's constitution.
- Distribution of information to members of the Network as may be necessary.
- Acting as gatekeeper for the Network's website.
- Dealing with media queries in accordance with the Network's procedures.
- Carrying out all duties of a Steering Group member as outlined in the Steering Group member job description.
- Any other duties as may become necessary and are agreed by the Steering Group.
